What measures is the Welsh Government taking to address overcrowding on Transport for Wales trains?

Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Climate Change
Transport for Wales (TfW) are working hard to increase the capacity provided on services across Wales. Our investment of £800m in brand new trains will deliver a significant increase in capacity, improve passenger comfort and increase the reliability of services. When all our brand-new fleet is in service TfW will have 485 carriages available in total, representing an 80% increase in the number of carriages inherited from the Arriva Trains Wales franchise in 2018.
