I have asked TfW, as part of the ongoing work of the regional network planning teams, to work closely with my officials, local authorities and the bus industry to establish the impact from the implementation of the 20mph speed limit on dedicated home to school transport and local bus services.
Once this work has been completed, and based on the evidence available, it is considered necessary, we will continue to work closely with our stakeholders to explore potential mitigations for managing these impacts.
