Does the Minister plan to alter the current strategy to ensure the target of 100% renewables by 2035 is met, following the report from the The National Infrastructure Commission for Wales?

I welcome the report from The National Infrastructure Commission for Wales and we will now consider the recommendations carefully. Our target to meet the equivalent of 100% of our annual electricity consumption from renewable sources by 2035, and to continue to keep pace with consumption thereafter, highlights the importance we place on our net zero commitments and the need to increase the pace of our response to the climate emergency. I have no plans to alter the current target for Wales.
