The Welsh Government has received a strategic outline case from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board for the development of new facilities at the University Hospital Wales to provide Bone Marrow Transplant, complex oncology, and cancer research. This proposal includes additional capacity for Chimeric Antigen Receptors Cell Therapy (CAR-T). This business case is currently being considered by the NHS Infrastructure Investment Board’s routine scrutiny process.
