What consideration has the Minister given to making winding country roads safer, following the tragic crash involving four young men in north Wales?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
I would first like to express my sincere condolences to the family of the four young men that tragically lost their lives last week on the A4085 near the village of Garreg in Gwynedd. My thoughts are with them at this sad time.
The Welsh Government is seeking to improve road safety in a variety of ways, including providing funding this financial year of £2,555,500 to GoSafe and £118,000 to RoSPA, as well as developing updated guidance for highway authorities on setting speed limits.
