Will the Minister provide an update on what conversations they have had with the Football Association of Wales on the availability and condition of grassroot sporting facilities?

My officials, along with Sport Wales, regularly meet with the FAW and facilities are a regular item of discussion. The FAW, whilst not owners of many facilities directly, monitor and assess the number and condition of football pitches across Wales. This activity helps inform their own decision making for funding applications from football clubs as well as feeding into the Sport Wales collaborative artificial pitches group they sit on with Sport Wales, Welsh Rugby Union and Hockey Wales.
