What discussions is the Minister having with the Arts Council for Wales about the impact of artificial intelligence on the creative sector?

The recently agreed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Arts Council of Wales and Creative Wales includes a commitment to work jointly to monitor the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on the creative sector, to help ensure that we are prepared for the future.
Through the framework of the MOU discussions we will continue to identify crossover and opportunities for skills in the arts and creative sectors, taking into consideration and understanding the implications of AI, to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate negative impacts. We are also exploring safeguards to help ensure that any developments in AI are beneficial to the workforce as well as to businesses.
