Atebwyd gan Minister for Climate Change
The Welsh Government is investing over £210m this year alone in homelessness and housing support services. This funding includes the Housing Support Grant (£166.8m) which is the main homelessness prevention grant provided to local authorities to provide essential housing support services to support people to sustain tenancies and avoid homelessness and wrap-around support to those who are experiencing homelessness.
In support of the transformation agenda, including the strategic planning needed to fully implement a rapid rehousing approach, Welsh Government relationship managers continue to work closely with local authorities, identifying and sharing best practice as part of a programme of continuous development.
