I can confirm that conversations have taken place at both Ministerial and official level regarding the University’s ambition to establish a dental school in North Wales. As I said in my answer to WQ92455 we are also talking to other interested parties to identify the best option for increasing dental training capacity. We are also exploring options to create outreach placements in the North Wales area for 5th year dental students studying at Cardiff Dental School.
