What are the Welsh Government's house building targets for Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire?

Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Housing, Local Government and Planning
The Welsh Government does not set housing targets for local authorities. This Government remains committed to delivering 20,000 additional homes for rent in the social sector across the whole of Wales this Senedd Term.
Local authorities are responsible for undertaking assessments of housing need, through Local Housing Market Assessments (LHMAs). LHMAs provide crucial evidence to inform a local authority’s Local Development Plan (LDP) process, which include targets for the number of affordable and market homes the authority aims to deliver over the plan period. LDPs must set out how and where the authority intends to provide the affordable and market homes to meet the target they have established.
