There will be consultation and discussion with stakeholders before any plans are developed for the implementation of sections 27 and 28 of the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Bill.
As these sections relate to services to promote diversity in persons seeking elected office and financial assistance schemes to promote diversity in persons seeking elected office respectively, it will be essential to ensure they are designed with the benefit of insight from people they are intended to support.
The budget has not yet been determined as the budget process is still on-going.
