Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning
Wales has a great tradition of animation and the continued health of the sector is important to the Welsh Government. Creative Wales offers a range of funding programmes to benefit the animation sector, including production funding. Under this scheme we recently supported a new 26 five-minute episode series of Mini Buds / Egin Bach, by Cardiff based animation company Bumpybox. In addition, through our Overseas Business Development scheme, animation companies are able to access supported travel to the Annecy animation finance market, with our presence there further supported by Creative Wales.
The Animation sector is also supported through our Creative Skills Fund. Details of projects supported under that fund will be publicised shortly.
