Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
As a Government we are committed to increasing access to affordable housing across Wales and we have allocated:
• Over £1.4bn for Social Housing so far this Senedd term. This includes a Social Housing Grant allocation in Conwy of £52.2m.
• Over £163m to the Transitional Accommodation Capital Programme (TACP) since it started in 2022. Conwy has received an allocation of £12.3m since the start of the programme. In addition a further £100m has been announced for the overall TACP for 2024-25.
• Over £75million of low-cost loan funding has also provided to Registered Social Landlords over 2023/24 and 2024/25.
• £0.92m to Conwy for the Empty Homes Grant Scheme is also contributing to the availability of housing by bringing long-term empty properties back into use as homes.
• In addition £14.6m has been accessed from our Wales Property Development and Wales Stalled Sites Funds to deliver housing in Conwy.
