Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the work to repair the defunct barriers on the M48?

The design for replacement of the road restraint system on the M48 is included in this financial year 2024/2025. The upgrade to the safety barriers will take place in future years. However, with limited budgets difficult decisions are needed to ensure investment is directed where it will provide the most impact. The scheme will be prioritised along with other schemes across the trunk road network.
