Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
Average speed cameras in Wales can be introduced at locations where there have been road collisions, concerns about air quality, or to protect road workers whilst maintaining the highway. Their location and use are at the discretion of the highway authority in consultation with the police.
