What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government regarding whether the electrification of the north Wales mainline will be funded by the UK Government?

The previous UK Government failed to commit any funding towards the electrification of the North Wales Main Line. We are working with the new UK Government to develop a pipeline of prioritised rail infrastructure enhancements, which will include appropriate consideration of electrification schemes across Wales.
