Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the arrangements now in place to regulate housing associations following the decision to abolish the Regulatory Board for Wales in summer of 2022?

Housing associations have continued to be regulated by the Welsh Government through the Regulatory Framework for Housing Associations Registered in Wales.
As part of an ongoing programme to strengthen regulation, we are currently recruiting a chair and members of a new Housing Regulation Independent Assurance Panel whose role will be to provide an independent view on how effectively the framework is being implemented.
