Will the Cabinet Secretary explain why it is not mandatory for all reservoirs to have on-site emergency flood plans?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
Our approach to on-site emergency flood plans in Wales is under constant review and we work with Natural Resources Wales (NRW) in agreeing the best approach to securing plans for all reservoirs. Future policy on the approach to on-site emergency flood plans will be considered as part of the joint UK and Welsh Government Reservoir Safety Reform programme.
