Further to WQ95134, will the Cabinet Secretary confirm what the UK Pesticides Action Plan will contain regarding the use of amenity pesticides in Wales?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
We want to support the amenity sector to adopt alternative approaches or techniques which drive down dependency on the use of pesticides to control weeds in public spaces.
As set out in my response to WQ95134, officials are working to finalise UK Pesticides Action Plan which will set out actions for government, agencies and all pesticide users to minimise the risks and impacts of pesticides.
