Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
I set out the strategic priorities for the fisheries and aquaculture sectors in Wales in my statement of the 4 December.
I opened the latest round of the WMFS on the 13 January, with £1.4million available for fisheries and aquaculture projects.
Regenerative ocean farming along with other forms of aquaculture in the marine environment will be subject to the marine licensing regime. Marine licensing is a well-established process that enables sustainable development in Welsh waters. Natural Resources Wales (NRW) undertake marine licensing on behalf of Welsh Ministers.
