Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
Local Authorities are responsible for identifying the level of liabilities associated with the LGPS as part of their annual accounts which are audited by Audit Wales. The legislation which governs the Local Government Pension Scheme is not devolved and no local Authority has raised concerns at the impact of the operation of the LGPS on its liabilities.
