Further to WQs 95578, 95579 and 95588, what action will the Welsh Government take to improve the service at the four Wrexham stations?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
I am pleased to note that performance has improved following the removal of the multiple speed restrictions in place between Wrexham and Shrewsbury following a landslip. During the most recent rail period, TfW services in North Wales demonstrated improvements in punctuality and reliability compared to the previous period. This is supported by operational improvements delivered by TfW in their December timetable change and the on-going introduction of new trains as part of our £800m investment. 87% of Marches Line services are now planned to operate with new trains, and 100% of services on the Wrexham-Bidston line.
