Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
We have provided substantial support to communities impacted by Storms Bert and Darragh. £8.12 million of capital funding was made available to Risk Management Authorities to carry out repairs to flood infrastructure damaged by the storms. Immediate financial support has been offered to local authorities to support response costs through the opening of the Emergency financial assistance scheme. In addition, grants to affected households of £1,000 for those without insurance cover and £500 for those with existing insurance cover have been provided alongside the scheme. Welsh Government have also provided funding to Local Resilience Forums in Wales to support them in their activities.
