What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the Climate Just webtool and how it could inform where resources need to be directed for community flood preparedness and recovery?

Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
Neither Welsh Government nor NRW have been involved in the development of the Climate Just webtool. We use different types of metrics for the development of our flood warning areas, including Flood Risk Assessment Wales mapping outputs. Effective flood warning is critical, hence why we have invested £6m in Natural Resources Wales’ new Flood Warning System.
Natural Resources Wales work closely with the Met Office, Environment Agency and the Flood Forecasting Centre to identify new developments and are always improving our commitment to creating open data to published publicly available mapping and modelling of risk in Wales.
