What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with Transport for Wales regarding the potential for additional railway stations in Cardiff to serve communities such as Splott, Adamsdown and Rumney?

Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
Additional stations to serve communities in Splott, Adamsdown and Rumney are included in proposals from Cardiff Council for future phases of their Cardiff Crossrail Scheme. We are working in partnership with the UK Government, Cardiff Council and Transport for Wales on Phase 1a of the Cardiff Crossrail scheme that would link Cardiff Central to Cardiff Bay station. The development of any further phases of Cardiff Crossrail would be subject to business cases for these and securing funding, noting that rail infrastructure outside of the Core Valley Lines remains a reserved matter.
