What is the average time in Wales between a successful applicant applying for and receiving a blue badge?

The local authorities are responsible for the day-to-day administration and enforcement of the Blue Badge Scheme in Wales. Welsh Government do not hold this information.
For re-applications applicants can apply 12 weeks before their badge is due to expire. For new applications the average time may vary depending on which eligibility criteria the applicant was applying for. The automatic eligibility criteria may be faster than under the further assessment discretionary criteria. Once local authorities have determined an applicant was eligible then they can request a blue badge through the Blue Badge Digital System.
