Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the implementation of the Welsh Government's warm homes scheme?

Since November, I have introduced several changes to the Warm Homes Nest Scheme. I have widened the crisis route, which offers urgent support to households without heating and hot water, to include all eligible applicants including people in EPC D rated properties. I have also permitted the installation of gas boilers in circumstances where air source heat pumps are unsuitable. These changes to the scheme are now bearing fruit, with referrals and completed installation rates increasing significantly in recent months.
An annual report, outlining progress during the first year of the scheme, will be published in the autumn.
