Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the work of the innovating democracy advisory group, including any plans the group has to liaise and collaborate with other organisations in Wales that have held citizen assemblies and citizen engagement work?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
A key principle underpinning the Group’s approach is collaboration. IDAG recognises the value of learning from and working with organisations across Wales that have experience in citizen assemblies, deliberative processes, and wider public engagement.
The Group will collaborate with a range of partners, including those in local government, civil society and academia, to build on existing practice and ensure its work is informed by what has already been achieved in Wales.
I intend to publish the Group’s work programme in the near future.
