Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
Local authorities are responsible for developing an allocation scheme which outlines the authority’s priorities and procedures in allocating social housing. A summary of the scheme must be made available to members of the public.
In determining their specific scheme, local authorities must have regard to the Welsh Government’s Code of Guidance, which provides guidance on the allocation scheme and procedures to be followed in allocating housing provision, including where applicants consider they have been treated unfairly.
