What consideration has the Welsh Government given to introducing Martha's Rule in Wales?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
The Welsh Government is making good progress developing Call4Concern. This is Wales’ approach to patient and family-initiated escalation which enables a patient or their family to call for immediate help and advice if they are worried about instances of deteriorating health. Call4Concern mirrors the principles of Martha’s Rule in England. Welsh Health Circular WHC (2024) 040 provides more detail. Call4Concern has started to be implemented across NHS Wales.
