Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Education
This information is in the two tables below and is taken from the Pupil Level Annual School Census (PLASC). Only pupils excluded from mainstream schools are included. The data includes both permanent and fixed-term exclusions. Data for 2023/24 is not yet available.
A pupil can be excluded from more than one local authority in the same academic year. That pupil would count once in each local authority in that year, but only once for all of Wales. This means the local authority values may not add together to make the total for Wales.
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, schools were closed to some or all pupils in both the summer term 2019/20 and the spring term 2020/21. This impacts on the number of exclusions in both of these academic years.
