Will the Cabinet Secretary ask the North and Mid Wales Trunk Agent to extend the 40mph speed restriction in Glan Conwy so that it commences to the south of the A470/Pentrefelin Road Junction?

There are no immediate plans to extend the 40mph speed limit at Glan Conwy. The Welsh Government takes road safety very seriously and are in the process of updating the Setting Local Speed Limits in Wales guidance to reflect current Welsh Government policy including the national roll-out of 20mph speed limits and to meet the ambitions highlighted in Llwybr Newydd: the Wales Transport Strategy 2021. Following its release, Welsh Government will review the speed limits across our Trunk Road Network including the section you have highlighted.
