Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on what discussions they are having with UK Highways A55 Ltd about the repairs to the Menai Bridge?

My officials are in daily contact with UK Highways A55 Ltd. Work will commence this week (w/c 13 October 2025) to undertake a temporary bridging beam underneath the Menai Suspension Bridge. This work is expected to be complete by the end of the month. This will then allow the traffic management to revert to 7.5 tonne and two-way flow. Work to repair the bolt issue will commence in November. The Phase two works will then recommence following the bolt repairs.
