Have the arrangements for vaccinating housebound vulnerable adults changed for this winter, and if so, why?

Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Health boards are able to deliver vaccinations tailored to meet the specific needs of their local populations. This includes any arrangements to deliver vaccinations to housebound vulnerable adults.
Our aim is to improve vaccine uptake, safeguard the health of our population and help prevent serious illness. Welsh Health Circulars set out the expectation for health boards to improve their local arrangements so vaccinations, including those for housebound vulnerable adults, are as accessible as possible; patient burden is minimised and barriers are removed. This ensures everyone, including vulnerable housebound adults, has fair and equitable opportunity to benefit from vaccination.
