The Natural Resources Wales website includes information about access to mental health support for people affected by flooding. Public Health Wales’ website also has additional detail on flooding and mental health.
The national CALL mental health helpline, funded by the Welsh Government, provides access to advice and emotional support 24/7. A range of easy-to-access mental health support is available on the 111 website, which includes online cognitive behavioural therapy. Support for urgent mental health support is available by calling the NHS Wales 111 press 2.
Anyone whose mental health has been affected by floods will also be able to access appropriate support through their GP. Children and young people will also be able to access support from the schools counselling service in their area.
