Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning
According to the latest statistics provided by Medr, apprenticeship opportunities with 30% or more Welsh medium delivery are available across a range of sectors, with the strongest levels of Welsh‑medium delivery found in Agriculture and Leisure, Sport and Travel, which consistently record higher proportions of programmes delivered at least partly in Welsh.
Regionally, North Wales has the highest proportion of apprenticeship starts with 30% or more Welsh medium delivery, with around 14–16% of learners each year receiving 30% or more of their training through the medium of Welsh.
Importantly, Welsh‑medium apprenticeship provision is available in every region of Wales, although the level of uptake varies by local demand.
