What assessment has the Cabinet Minister made of the long-term financial sustainability of the Welsh Government's current housing policy?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
We keep the long-term financial sustainability of housing policy under regular review through budget setting processes, spending reviews, and the assessment of housing need and market conditions. Current investment plans are designed to balance the delivery of social housing, homelessness prevention and housing quality and decarbonisation improvements. Our manifesto set out an ambitious programme that I am committed to working in partnership with local authorities, RSLs, the third sector, community groups and other homebuilders to deliver. I am working with my Cabinet colleagues to deliver a budget that will support our key priorities.
