What action is the Government taking to ensure consistent specialist psychological support is available across all health boards to support bereaved parents following pregnancy or baby loss?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women’s Health (Delyth Jewell)
All health boards have bereavement midwives in place to provide support to bereaved parents following pregnancy or baby loss. Cardiff and Vale UHB are the first health board in Wales to provide a Psychology-led bereavement service for parents. We are working closely with the health board to evaluate the service to inform future service development across Wales.
