What anti-fraud measures is the Welsh Government introducing alongside their automatic voter registration implementation?

Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
Electoral registration fraud is historically very low in Wales. The Electoral Commission already provides guidance on identifying suspicious registration applications for Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), who have a statutory duty to identify people who are eligible to register in their area.
By moving the onus of registration from individuals to the ERO, automatic registration will itself reduce the opportunity for individuals looking to commit fraud.
