Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Education and the Welsh Language (Anna Brychan)
The source of the data for the statement that 86% of people agree that the Welsh language is something to be proud of is the National Survey for Wales, conducted between April 2017 and March 2018. Questions about confidence and attitudes have not been included in the National Survey since then.
The source of the data for the statement that 82% of people aged between 18 and 24 believe that it is important for school children in Wales to learn Welsh is a YouGov survey conducted in January 2025 on attitudes towards promotion of the Welsh language.
