What plans does the Welsh Government have to implement Jess’s Rule in the Welsh NHS?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Health and Care (Mabon ap Gwynfor)
The Welsh Government has no current plans to introduce Jess’s Rule as a separate policy in NHS Wales. We expect NHS services in Wales to apply NICE guidance, which includes safety-netting advice and review arrangements for people with persistent, recurrent or changing symptoms, supported by wider patient safety safeguards including the Duty of Quality, the Duty of Candour and the Once for Wales Concerns Management System.
