Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women’s Health (Delyth Jewell)
The Welsh Government provides £12.7 million annually to Regional Partnership Boards across Wales to improve dementia services and strengthen joint working between health, social care and voluntary-sector organisations.
The Welsh Government is committed to ensuring we continue to make progress on dementia care and support in Wales, and this will be driven forward in a new Dementia Strategy that will focus on brain health, improving diagnosis and strengthening support for those living with dementia. We recently consulted on a draft Dementia Strategy, and these responses are informing our final strategy due to be published in early 2027.
