Will the Welsh Government provide an update on its anti-racist metaverse?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education (Cefin Campbell)
The anti-racist virtual world, commonly referred to as the Metaverse, was developed and delivered by further education colleges, led by Cardiff and Vale College, as part of the wider further education Anti-Racism Curriculum programme.
Since 2024, responsibility for funding decisions related to the resource rests with Medr, the Commission for Tertiary Education and Research. Medr has funded the Metaverse through to July 2027.
Welsh Government does not hold data on the number of users of the Metaverse.
