Question
How is the Welsh Government ensuring that suitable transport links are available for people who commute from Cardiff to Tredegar Park in Newport by bus, following overcrowding on certain services during peak times?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport
As the co-ordination of local bus services remains the responsibility of the local authorities, we have asked Newport City Council to liaise with bus operators to ensure there is sufficient capacity on local bus services during periods of peak travel demand across the City.
