Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on plans for the construction of a new inpatient facility to take pressure off Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, which declares red alerts regularly throughout the winter period?

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is reviewing its proposals for the Royal Alexandra Hospital site in partnership with local stakeholders. The proposals are expected to include a minor injuries unit, intermediate care beds and integrated care facilities.
The business case will be submitted to the Welsh Government in due course for scrutiny and will be considered in line with established processes.
