When does the Cabinet Secretary anticipate making her final decision on a proposed teacher pay increase?

Following the publication of the Independent Wales Pay Review Body’s 5th report on 10th September, we have now initiated a four week consultation period with key stakeholders. This consultation will conclude on 7th October. At that time, a decision will be made taking into account all responses to the consultation, with the aim of allowing local authorities to implement the pay award as soon as possible.
