Question
What practical support will Welsh Government offer leaseholders who are pursuing legal action against developers?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
We are very clear that should a legal issue arise within the scope of the Developer’s Contract, the Welsh Government will instigate the appropriate legal action on behalf of the leaseholders.
For legal issues unrelated to the contract, there is a co-developed support route which can be found in a Leasehold Advisory Service Home - The Leasehold Advisory Service (lease-advice.org) for leaseholders who may wish to take forward legal action
