Does NHS Wales provide wigs on prescription for young people impacted by alopecia?

GPs can refer people with more severe hair loss caused by alopecia to dermatology services or directly to surgical appliance departments to be provided with a wig. In such cases, the surgical appliances department will provide the individual with information about where to access wigs from an NHS procured supplier.
