Question
What is the Cabinet Secretary doing to avoid workers taking industrial action at Transport for Wales?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
Transport for Wales are committed to working in social partnership and building strong constructive relationships with the Trade Unions that represent their employees.
I am pleased that Transport for Wales and the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) have resolved their current pay dispute, achieving the best possible outcomes for TfW staff and for passengers. This rapid resolution highlights the benefits of discussion and dialogue to resolve disagreements positively and avoiding the need for industrial action.
