What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government in relation to an extension of tenure for the Veterans' Commissioner whose appointment terminates on 31 December 2024?

I was pleased to meet with the Veterans Commissioner for Wales on 14 October to discuss his latest annual report. His appointment is primarily a matter for UK Government Ministers in the Ministry of Defence and in the Wales Office. I look forward to my planned introductory meeting with the Minister for Veterans on 24 October and to consider this as part of our discussions.
